ROSALES
The hens, that lay BIO eggs called Rias Baixas, graze outside every day and they have green Galician meadow literally for the whole year. For each hen there is an area 4 square meters of free range in the environment, which offers natural diet rich in vitamins, protein and fibre. This freedom during grazing gives comfort to the hens and it helps their health condition. They can stretch freely, indulge sandy bath, they can stretch their wings and exercise their legs - and that is why they avoid decalcification. There is a time regulation with case of BIO hens spending naturally on the light ( necessary for the cycle of laying eggs). For example in summer BIO hens laying Rias Baixas can rest in the shade of trees and they regulate their own temperature under the open sky. BIO hens laying Rias Baixas eggs are fed with very quality wholemeal feed with no modified ingredients. Moreover, these hens gain rich natural supplements during their walks, following their natural instincts. This way they peck the herbs and leaves of grass, which are important vitamin supplements and fibre; worms and insects, that transform into protein, amino acids and some vitamins (especially K vitamins and the group B of vitamins);they eat pebbles, which enrich them not only with minerals, but they also have a role of the grinder in the foregut.
The breeders on Rosales farm are proud of International Featured Standards Food Certification. It is the most important certification in Europe, which guarantee quality and the food safety.
